driven by a passion

My love for Mexican food, the people, and their culture, is a culmination of my experiences; from time I spent in London opening and managing a Mexican cantina tequila bar, and time I spent travelling to and immersing myself in, the most vibrant society i’d ever been amongst.

Mexico was abundant, the people;beautiful, their land; magical, and the food, with both indigenous and Spanish influence was so incredibly bold and rich in flavour!

Upon returning, I felt compelled to share my love of Mexican culture with my hometown, including and respecting the integrity of Mexican food and service, while at the same time enriching it by contributing something new..

Just before I was due to leave for my trip to Mexico in 2015, I had the pleasure of serving some amazing people from Mexico. Being typical Mexicans, the evening was long spent talking about our shared love for their food and culture. The following day one of the gentlemen unexpectedly returned to the restaurant I was working to offer me a selfless gift.

The front of house position we need filled is mostly nights with some-day shifts, it’s casual employment and paid under the restaurant award. Hours will depend on the individual work ethic.

Here is our most popular dessert, the house made mexican chocolate fondant! Made with spices, chocolate, fresh raspberries that we create a raspberry coulis out of and chocolate ganache before serving it with house made short bread and vanilla ice cream!
